TH and PHA Free. Grandmaster is the red, polled, appendix free maternal brother to Maverick and Canasta and a full brother to Lilian 74M. Grandmaster is smoothly made and long sided with lots of hip. At the 2005 Agribition, he was the Reserve Senior Champion and was admired by commercial and purebred cattlemen alike. His pedigree is stacked to combine top maternal and carcass genetics. He exhibits desirable traits for today's beef industry, having the highest marbling score (Prime) of all Shorthorn cattle scanned at the 2005 Agribition with a ribeye size that is optimal for today's restaurant trade. An added bonus, his progeny are born easily and his daughters are making tremendous producers. Average birth weight on 34 calves: 91 lbs.
